Dr Muhammad Noor Cheema
Optometrist and Managing Director
Noor graduated from UNSW with a Master of Clinical Optometry and a Bachelor of Vision Science (Honours). He has extensive experience working across different demographics, with a particular interest in ocular disease diagnosis and management, and is qualified to prescribe ophthalmic medications to treat a variety of eye diseases. He is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, helping him connect with the diverse community he treats every day.
He took over the practice in 2020 from Allan Poulter, who had been servicing the local Blacktown community for over 40 years – continuing that same commitment to the neighbourhood, under independent ownership.
Dr Parunithan Ranganathan
Senior Optometrist
Parunithan graduated from UNSW with a Master of Clinical Optometry and a Bachelor of Vision Science (Honours). He has a particular interest in glaucoma and paediatric eye care, bringing a thorough, patient-first approach to every consultation. He is fluent in Tamil.
Paruni joined Envision Optometrists in 2024 and has since become an essential part of the practice, valued by patients and colleagues alike for his clinical care and calm, reassuring manner.
